Mind, Body & Soul - certain thoughts!!
We generally say few phrases quiet frequently in life as if 'I am speaking my mind out' 'Pleas speak out', 'Pleas speak your mind out' something like that.
What is it that makes 'speaking one's mind out' ?
Let's take couple of iterative scenarios, traits or tenets of commonly found in people.
'Reading is my passion'
'Music is my passion'
'I would die for Cricket'
'I would die if Sachin fails to score a century'
'My objective in life is to become an Astronaut'
'Music is my passion'
'I would die for Cricket'
'I would die if Sachin fails to score a century'
'My objective in life is to become an Astronaut'
Except the last one, rest of all speak about people's passion and/or priorities or conviction sort of; Last one being a personal wish or career objective. Whether or not they live up to these, that's a different matter.
To like or love something is different than expressing what we think (out of our mind) whether or not that really comes out of our heart what it says. Most of the time, mind and heart does not go hand in hand.
What your inner-conscience allows you to convey perhaps your mind would simply speak that out, but your heart would not permit you to express fully wholeheartedly.
What your inner-heart says, you may not listen to that, because, for sheer decency to be displayed publicly, you might exercise restraint and play it down a bit, and speak up a bit somewhat less than what you originally intended to convey. There, you would listen to your mind, and let it go.
In between mind and heart, there is a 3rd dimension that is 'soul'. Many artists or creative talents bring out their best by sheer dedication and sincerity they exert in life because they have a passion to that task, activity, art-form or skill-set whatever that may be on earth.
If one has utmost passion to learn an art and possesses a talent, he would go that extra mile to enhance his skill-set by picking up those qualities, capabilities so h would ensure to master that art or achieving his passion.
Most artists start with a humble beginning, not necessarily they have the wherewithal to proceed further in approaching the right set of people at the right time in the right place to seek their next path in life to ensure they lead a life that they originally intended to live and achieve the chosen goals, objectives or career ambitions.
Many have the financial power, but do not possess the technical knowhow; few would have the knowledge and technical knowhow and talent as is required, but they may not have the finances or contacts to reach out the right people. This by and large proves in Film industry.
Not everyone gets the right opportunity to display their skills or talent.
Speaking your mind out need not be in concurrence with your heart. What your heart wants or obliges you to convey, your mind would not do so out of hesitation; we might even not be reluctant to be so.
Living up to your passion is NOT always easy in life, as you might speak your heart out but your mind would not know what to speak to which audience in the most appropriate time and venue, so, invariably your passion tends to take a backseat thus would become a virtual casualty because, wherever you go, you would soon realize that, speaking up your mind out of your heart is NOT welcome.
Unless one is determined to what he endeavors, what he is anxious to achieve in life by living up to his passion displaying the right skills and talent at the right place in the most appropriate time catches the eyes of a favorable jury or deciding authority so one gets the right opportunity to continue his mission forward.
Life, in the form of destiny, throws lot of yorkers or googlies or in-swingers many a times, where one tends to ignore or disregard his passion, and go with the flow because what he endures in his difficult passage in several attempts, he is forced to make both ends meet to ensure himself/herself a sheer space for survival.
'Survival of the fittest' is a most common phrase used in every school of communication. The more one displays and speaks his heart out or mind out may not be speaking his passion which is his soul end of the day, because, he who realizes in the process, that one has to forego certain passion or ambitions in life, if all ingredients do not fall in place to achieve the chosen objective or goal (that by itself is a result of his conviction, that's his passion).
p.s.: An important aspect in life our 'Attitude' takes a significant role in sustaining what we speak, whether we speak our mind, heart or soul, attitude plays its pivotal role though. We would go into that later.
(these thoughts might continue, as I am now speaking my mind out, not heart, as this is my passion to speak out!!).
